Our Story

Bitcoin Games Lab is video game studio funded in April 2024 by Toni Moral.

A journey that started 2 years before until it released the first game as you know it: Satoshi’s Goal.

Tokenizing on Bitcoin with the ‘colored coins’ protocol (autographs, digital cards, certificates of authenticity, event tickets, fan tokens…)

1st Spanish NFT platform
Watafan project is born, the first NFT platform in Spain. The first in the world built on a Bitcoin sidechain (Rootstock). We fought for the project for 3 years but it never took off.

Day of Genesis

Game Prototype
Toni started making a board card game with his family. This is how the Day of Genesis game begins, the predecessor of the current Satoshi’s Goal. The prototype was presented at two board game prototype events and it was evaluated by the public and by experts in the sector.

Digital Game Prototype
Once the mechanics were validated for Day of Genesis, the development of a digital prototype began.

Bitcoin Games Lab

The studio is born
Satoshi's Goal MVP attracts more than 1000 players per month. It is a clear success. The project's need for consolidation creates the first Spanish Bitcoin game studio: Bitcoin Games Lab

Who is Toni Moral?

Toni Moral is Bitcoin Games Lab founder and CEO nowadays, a renowned person in the Bitcoin and blockchain space but before that he was a professional Spanish Soccer player. He played as a midfielder and his last team was Hatta Club in the UAE Pro League, having played at FC Barcelona and Real Madrid , reason why you can still see him playing with former Real Madrid players.
